I spent 10 days in Spain in October 2025 to attend and present at the International Conference of Holistic Vision in Valencia. It was my first time visiting Spain and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience.

The conference was hosted by Palmea, the vision association of Mexico, and organized by Ainhoa de Federico, Orit Kruglanski, and Marina Montiel, plus a dozen more helpers and staff.

It was a six-day conference, with four full days of workshops followed by two days of the conference talks. I had the honor of screening our documentary film Vision 2020: From Eyesight To Insight with Spanish subtitles to a crowd of over 150 people. My co-producer Barry Auchettl was able to Zoom in from Florida and join me for a Q&A after the film.

I also helped facilitate the In Memoriam for Esther Joy van der Werf, who we sadly lost in March 2025. It was an emotional moment of the conference, but it felt important to process it together as a group.

At the climax of the conference, I also received my honorary diploma in Natural Vision Coaching through the International University in Human Development and Leadership.
