In the fall of 2019 I led a 4 Day Eyesight & Insight Immersion Retreat outside of Asheville, North Carolina at the beautiful Prama Institute. 13 wonderful visionaries traveled to the Blue Ridge Mountains to spend multiple days without wearing any glasses and learning how to heal their eyes holistically and improve their vision naturally. A few were locals, but most flew in from other states and even other countries to gather with their “Eye Tribe”.
A retreat participant climbs a tree hanging over the French Broad River on one of our outdoor afternoon vision walks.
All the meals at Prama Institute are healthy, vegetarian, and delicious. Not to mention, the intuitive chef Dianne customized the meal to focus on ingredients specific to eye health!
The cool morning mist hangs in the hills before Eye Yoga class starts at 7:30 am.
Before breakfast, retreat participants practice their early morning “sunning” practice as taught by the Bates Method.
People traveled from North Carolina, Georgia, Wisconsin, California, Canada, and even Jamaica to attend this 4 Day Eyesight & Insight Immersion Retreat!
A pack of palmers!
The retreat center located in the mountains enabled us to spend lots of time outdoors soaking up the beautiful sun and the crisp mountain air.
What makes Prama unique is it’s 2 connected geodesic domes, which made for some very conducive indoor learning opportunities as well.
A short hike from the Prama Institute is The Cliffs – a massive rock face that we took our second afternoon vision walk to.
Prama was the perfect place to host our group, and I can definitely see myself leading more vision retreats there in the future!
